Jax settled himself on the sofa and turned on the TV. He got comfy and selected Jersey Shore from the DVR. He took a sip of his favorite drink in the world. Jimmie walked in wearing a suite looking fine as hell. “Where are you going?” He asked and cuddled deeper into his blanket.

Jimmie quirked a brow at him. “Do you drink anything else?”

Jax blinked a few times in an attempt to look bewildered. “Yeah, alcohol.”

Jimmie laughed and walked over. Jax just sat there sipping on the straw. Warmth seeped into his heart when Jimmie leaned over and gave him a kiss. Despite being together for over five years his toes still curled when Jimmie kissed him so gently like this. “You taste like juice.”

He smiled and proudly held up his juice box. “Strawberry-banana-watermellon swirl. Yeah, buddy.”

“I love you.” Jimmie said and kissed his forehead. “I’ll be back. Last minute meeting change.”

Jax huffed. “Today was supposed to be your day off.” He was slightly annoyed but he knew Jimmie would stay home if he could.

“I know.” Jimmie took a sip of his juice. Under different circumstances he’d slap Jimmie for that but today he’d let it slide. “I’ll be back as soon as I can.” Jimmie walked away and gathered his briefcase and coat.

“Good,” Jax said, “cause when you get back I’ll be horny.”

That stopped Jimmie in his tracks. The look Jimmie was giving him said ‘if I wasn’t leaving I’d fuck you silly’ and Jax loved it. “Oh really?”

Jax took a sip of his sugary cocktail and nodded. “So get back soon, kay? But not before I watch these two episodes of Jersey Shore.”

Jimmie shook his head with a smile and opened the door. “I see your priorities.”

“Love you!” Jax yelled just as Jimmie shut the door.

“Love you, too!” Jimmie yelled through the door.

Now Jax could settle in and relax a little until Jimmie got back. Then he could relax in a different way.
