“The Last of Us” Snippet
If you follow me on twitter I’ve been tweeting about something I’ve been writing nicknamed “Thing.” Well, Thing is The Last of Us, the third installment to my The Stallions mini series. Here’s a little piece of what I’ve been working on.
“If I wanted to take advantage of you I could’ve already. Many times.” I stalked over to him. “Even now,” Zeke’s body tensed, his eyes shifted and a long exhale spewed fear into the air. He bolted but I caught him around the throat and pinned him against the wall, but not slamming him, that would’ve been too rough for his recovery. My world exploded with sensation. I had to take a deep breathe to steady myself. His hands gripped my wrist. “I could have you and you couldn’t do anything about it.” I was so close to him I could kiss him. “But,” I leaned in a fraction more, “I’d never hurt you.” My grip turned into a caress down the side of his neck. “I’ll never let anyone hurt you again.”
“Freeing Pain” novella
So I checked my little freebie’s stats and y’all like that thing way too damn much. I best get cracking on that novella before someone comes after me…
I’ve been a very bad author…
I haven’t posted anything in awhile…
Things kind of went sideways on me two days after my last post. I’ve been dealing with personal things and those things clogged up my writerly flow. I hadn’t written anything in over month. I even missed deadlines! I never miss deadlines! Anyway… I’m back on track now and have written over 10,000 words in just four days. This is very exciting to me since I hand’t written anything in a while…
Anyway. Now things are back on track and I plan on posting regularly again. (If I disappear again feel free to poke me.)
Lor out.
