It’s Wednesday which means it’s time to talk about something from the back list or “WIPile.” One series I’m really excited about is Life is Priceless. In the series vampires or Deava as they like to be called, are known to humans as well as other paranormal creatures. Deavas had to step in to protect their source of nutrition: humans. To gain the “cooperation” of humans and keep them on the straight path all felons are sentenced to become life slaves of the Deava. Enslaved humans are bought and sold like cattle; some are treated even worse. Slaves have no rights. Daeva constantly joke saying “life is priceless” because to them, life is a sure thing due to their immortal nature. The lives are their slaves are only worth the amount they paid for. So to them, life is a comical joke.

Will the Deava finally learn that life truly is priceless?
