Judging Juniper #AtoZchallenge
Judge Jadyn Jacobs walks into his home with more files than he probably should. The delicate balance swaying this way and that with every movement.
“Ruff, ruff, ruff, ruff!!!!”
“Jasper, no! Sit!” Jadyn watches in amazement as his always out of control and hyper Bull Mastiff, Jasper, immediately listens to his dog walker of two weeks, Juniper. The large beast stares at him panting, his lethal tail wagging furiously. A trail of drool dangles from the massive dog’s mouth. “Jasper, you know better.” Whining softly, Jasper, turns towards the direction of Juniper’s voice.
Jadyn nearly swallows his tongue. Juniper appears from the hall way. His dirty blonde hair frames his face just right. Jasper’s leather dog leash clasped easily in one hand. The tight jogging attire Jumpier wore left very little to his imagination. “Thanks.” He mumbles.
Juniper’s smile causes his pants to become a little too tight. Thank god he can hide behind the island. “Since I did you a favor maybe you can do one for me? You know to be fair and all.”
“Sure!” He agrees without even thinking about it. Shit.
Laughing Juniper’s voice carries throughout the kitchen. “You don’t have to if you can’t or don’t want to but I got a parking ticket the other day and I can’t really afford to pay it soooo think you can take care of it for me?”
“I’m a supreme court judge a little ticket is nothing.”
The dog walker’s smile lightens his mood. “Thank you, Mr. Jacobs.”
“Don’t mention it,” he waves in Juniper’s general direction trying to appear busy by opening a file to glance over, “I’m happy to help you with anything.”
“Anything, Mr. Jacobs?” Juniper’s deep low laugh echoes in the kitchen.
Snapping his eyes up Jadyn is shocked to see Juniper openly looking him over. “Yes.”
Juniper’s smile turns feral. “Then I definitely have something you can help me with.”
